The Walker County Appraisal Review Board will begin Taxpayer Protest hearings typically in June and will continue to have hearings thereafter on Tuesdays & Thursdays until all timely filed taxpayer protests have been heard.

Notices of appraised value are typically mailed mid May. Taxpayers requesting a hearing before the ARB must file their protest no later than 30 days notices are mailed to secure a hearing date.

Appraisers are available Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to discuss taxpayer questions & concerns prior to a formal hearing if desired.
